Alas! Today we're back to business, and we're kicking off with a bang ! We're heading to Djerbahood, this crazy cool open-air street art museum in Erriadh, where artists from around the world have turned the traditional medina into a colorful playground with over 250 murals and stencils. We'll wander the streets, soaking up the vibes, and checking out the arty shops – perfect for some unique finds and colorful painted walls - see how many vibrant murals you can photograph!
After that, we're hitting Houmt Souk for some serious shopping! We'll dive into the market, haggling for the best deals on traditional ceramics, leather goods, spices, and artisanal crafts – all perfect for reselling back home. The souk's got colors, smells, and sounds galore – we'll be living the local life! Next, we'll explore the historic Erriadh synagogue, a stunning example of cultural harmony.
Then, we'll head to Guellala, a charming pottery village perched on a hilltop, where you can shop for unique ceramics and soak up the atmosphere. After a day of exploration, haggling and shoping, return to your hotel to unwind and explore the island on your own terms. For dinner, don't miss the opportunity to dine at Ghriba Restaurant, renowned for its delicious local cuisine and warm hospitality.
Overnight in Djerba.
