_A curated ladies sourcing tour through Tunisia: mosaics, medinas & high-margin merchandise for your store_ For the makers, the curators, the women who shop with purpose: Tunisia rewards those who buy smart. In the medinas of Tunis, Sousse, and Kairouan, source *hand-loomed Berber fabric by the meter — saffron, indigo, desert rose — for cushions, scarves, or kaftans back home. Hammam towels stack high in Sousse, soft cotton with silk-thread stripes, and you’ll get them for a fraction of boutique prices if you haggle with a smile. Stock up on cold-pressed olive oil from family presses — liquid gold in dark bottles, cheaper by the litre than anything at home. Deglet Nour dates from Tozeur come in 5kg boxes, sticky and sweet, perfect for gifting or repacking. Djerba’s pottery workshops are unmissable, but think small: olive bowls, spice dishes, hand-painted tiles. The big tagines are gorgeous but heavy — we’ll introduce you to artisans who ship pallets direct to South Africa if you’re buying volume. Tozeur brings woven palm baskets, date-wood trays, and desert roses. Silver from the souks still comes from family workshops — bangles, earrings, chunky rings with real weight. In Hammamet, book yourself a traditional *hammam* — steam, scrub, argan oil massage — so you know the ritual before you sell the towels. Bring an empty suitcase, and a strategy. We’ll show you where locals buy, what sells, how to spot quality, and how to get it home without killing your profit. This isn’t tourist trinkets. This is _stock for your store_.
